Commercial Mommy is how my friends describe me. In fact, it's how I describe myself. A Los Angeles based actress, juggling the every day demands of co-parenting three children, who are also actors. So many Hair questions, not enough time...


Funny. I am amazed at the number of people who are interested in my hair process! I gotta tell you, my hair is a walking experiment. I have this scientific equation that assists me in choosing my daily hairstyles.... T+P+EL=O. Time + Product availability+Energy Level=Outcome. That simple and that complicated. Make it an exponential equation if we are figuring in Yara's hair!

    I'm eager to read your 60 day hairstyle posts. I've gotten bored with twist-outs(which I've pretty much been doing for awhile now), so I've decided to mostly do buns this summer.

    Btw, I do like your "twist out w/updo and front boufant". That's another idea I try.

    I'd love to hear about Yara's hair journey as well- including products- I have two curly heads of my own- and the experimentation is reaching new levels this summer!
